THE PROCESS OF TOURNAMENT LEGISLATION

1.  Legislation Submission- each school writes legislation, preferably 10-15 pieces from every school so that we are covered for every tournament in the season, and then some.  To submit legislation, it must be in the proper format of Resolution, Concurrent Resolution, or Bill.  Submit legislation in Word Document form.  The lines in the legislation must be numbered.  Proper spelling, punctuation, and appropriate language needs to be adhered to, or expect that it will be edited.  When submitting legislation, use your email, submit to this address: deltafajardo@gmail.com

Note: Submitting legislation DOES NOT MEAN IT WILL GO FOR YOUR OWN TOURNAMENT UNLESS YOU LABEL IT AS SUCH WITH "For ________ Tournament."  All other legislation is subject to being picked by any Nebraska school tournament.

2.  Legislation Selection for Tournament- a school wishing to select legislation for the school's tournament will need to go to www.hhsdebate.com, click on "Login", and put in the user ID and PASSWORD provided by the website manager.  Only schools with tournaments will have an ID and PASSWORD to select legislation on the website.  Once on the selection page, the school can look through the legislation by title, and then click "Select Bill".  The legislation selected will automatically appear on the school's tournament page.  Schools are encouraged to select only 12-15 pieces of legislation so the pool of legislation does not run dry.  When done selecting, simply log out.
