HHS DB8 Parent Judging Workshop July 27-28

We will show you a sample of Congress, Public Forum, and Lincoln Douglas.  We will give you the basic rubric for critiquing students, and allow you to judge them.  Attend either day, or both.  We will start in the Library at 4pm and go to 8pm.  Parents can leave as we switch types of debates based on comfort level for learning how to judge that type of debate.  We will start with learning Congress and end with Lincoln Douglas Debate.  Please bring a legal pad of paper and a multicolor clicking pen.  If you want to judge at the HHS tournament, you should attend both days, and/or attend future supplemental workshops throughout the months of September, October, and November.  Attending work nights will easily get you prepared.
