Congress 09-10 Announcment

The year has started, and I just want to remind everyone of some basic house keeping.

1.  To submit legislation you must email it to www.deltafajardo.com in the form of a Word Document.  If I have not responded to ou that I have received it, don't assume I have it.

2.  We are running a contest this year on best piece of legislation each month, and then an overall winner, as well as a school winner for most legislation of quality submitted.  We will be using city officials, lawyers, advocates and legislation writers, and coaches as judges each month.  Fliers will be given out at the tournaments.

3.  Tournament coaches, please keep in mind your selection dates to keep the ball rolling for speech preparation.

Lincoln Southwest pick legislation by October 5th, at the latest 10th.

Norfolk pick legislation by October 10th, at the latest 17th.

Millard South pick legislation by October 17th, at the latest 24th.

Millard West pick legislation by October 31st, at the latest Nov. 7th.

Lincoln High pick legislation by November 7th, at the latest Nov. 14th.

(IS THERE ANOTHER TOURNAMENT IN DECEMBER?)

Millard North pick legislation by November 28, at the latest, Dec. 5th. (Remember there is a big break before you, so it's good to get it out early)

Westside pick legislation by Dec. 5th, at the latest 12th. (Remember there is a big break before you, so it's good to get it out early.)

Fremont pick legislation by Dec. 12, at the latest Dec. 19th.

Lincoln North Star pick legislation by Dec. 19th, at the latest before WINTER BREAK.

Kearney pick legislation by January 9th, at the latest 16th.

North Platte pick legislation by January 16th, at the latest 23rd.

Lincoln Southest pick legislation by January 16th, at the latest 23rd.

Lincoln East pick legislation by January 23rd, at the latest 30th.

Lincoln Northeast pick legislation by January 30th, at the latest February 6th.

4.  Those schools who will be using the website for submissions and/or tournament selections, do not forget to pay the $10 website fee.
